CPR - BLS Certification Program

A ONE DAY CPR certification curriculum teaches life-saving emergency response skills. It covers scene safety, activating emergency services, performing high-quality chest compressions and rescue breaths, and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for adults, children, and infants. Programs follow current international guidelines and last for 4 hours day or evening classes.

Core Curriculum Modules

  • Introduction and Legal Basics: Learn the chain of survival, legal consent, and how to stay safe during a rescue.
  • Assessment and Activation: Check the scene for danger, check for responsiveness, and call 911.
  • Compressions, Airway, Breathing (C-A-B): Master correct hand placement, compression depth, rate, and delivery of rescue breaths.
  • AED Training: Practice pad placement and operation of automated external defibrillators.
  • Choking Relief: Learn abdominal thrusts (Heimlich maneuver) for conscious and unconscious choking victims of all ages.
  • Age-Specific Variations: Adjust techniques for adult, child, and infant anatomy. 
  • In-Person Classes: Full classroom instruction with direct feedback on manikins from certified instructors.
  • Blended Learning: Online cognitive modules paired with an in-person hands-on skills test.
  • First Aid Add-ons: Optional extensions covering bleeding control, allergic reactions, and environmental emergencies.
